Postdoctoral Fellowship

Extensive 12-month therapy and assessment training for Georgia licensure.

Dr. Almanzar is passionate about mentoring, sponsoring, and training rising psychologists. She is a clinical supervisor for an APA-accredited predoctoral internship program and has mentored many students on their clinical and professional development. â€‹

 

At OASIS, Dr. Almanzar provides comprehensive individual therapy and evaluation services for adolescents and adults and is pleased to offer a 12-month postdoctoral fellowship. 

​

This position is available part-time or full-time and has the opportunity for renewal at the end of the 12 months. In this role, the fellow will receive extensive training in cognitive and psychological assessment and individual therapy for adolescents and adults. The fellow will also learn about fundamental and daily business operations that support the execution of quality clinical services. Group therapy, consultation, and community outreach opportunities may also be available.

 

 An ideal OASIS postdoctoral fellow demonstrates the following: 

  • A strong interest in a career in private practice and entrepreneurship.

  • An investment in building their caseload and brand through marketing and networking. 

  • Experience in assessment, hosting feedback sessions, and report writing. 

  • Experience working with adolescents and adults in therapy. 

  • A self-starter attitude and enjoys working independently while also collaborating with other professionals.​

 

An OASIS postdoctoral fellow will benefit from: 

  • Flexible start date and work hours 

  • Hybrid schedule 

  • A $500 professional development stipend

  • Weekly supervision consistent with Georgia licensure requirement

  • Monthly group supervision in assessment

  • Being a 1099 contractor with a 60% split on services rendered
